• adaptive reuse, culture & heritage
• commercial business attraction

There are currently several established institutions anchored within the Russell neighborhood that already help define the district. These institutions encourage and provide certain outlets for community members including creativity, educational training, culture and history, and expanded opportunity. In order to fully realize the goals and defining moments outlined in the previous slide, these institutions and creative outlets are the foundation for a successful BLVD.

These investments and many more have the opportunity to become catalytic sites in West Louisville which will create a livable community for the Russell Neighborhood.
